How to Make Your Supply List Stand Out

Copy Of Make Your Supply List Stand Out

Back to school is here- and that means that it’s time to start sharing school supplies!

Here’s an incredible thought: what if you could share parents exactly what you’d like them to purchase instantly and digitally? Well, there’s good news: Classtag has added a feature that does just that. If you haven’t already set up for your classroom, be sure to go take care of that ASAP so you set up your supply list after learning a few pro tips.

When you visit the supply list page, you’ll notice that the list already has items on it that have been hand selected for you by a survey of our teacher users. Once you go over the items and customize your list, you’ll need to set it to ready so it can be accessed parents. Here are some helpful tips:

  • Utilize the “notes” feature to add any specifics about your items. For example: if you’re asking parents to purchase scissors, be sure to specify if you’d like blunt tip or sharp tip.
  • Post an announcement to prompt parents to check the supply list and purchase supplies.
  • Back to School Night is a great time to get parents on board with Classtag. Be sure to show them where to purchase supplies! Let parents know that if they have questions they can chat with you during office hours or they can contact Classtag Support for quick assistance.

The supply list feature can be used throughout the school year as well! You can change the lists availability by switching into “revise” mode and you can edit the list to accommodate needs throughout the year. Let’s face it: teachers are all too familiar with the mass extinctions of glue sticks and pencils during the month of January.

Be sure to make sure that your supply list stands out to parents today- make your list ready and available to parents at www.classtag.com
